In accordance with Article 77 of the Constitutional Court Procedure Act, the competent authority may petition the Constitutional Court to dissolve an unconstitutional political party if it considers that the goals or activities of the relevant political party endangers the existence of the Republic of China or the constitutional order of liberal democracy.
