The Legislative Yuan may petition the Constitutional Court to uphold the impeachment against the President or the Vice President pursuant to Article 2, Paragraph 10 of the Additional Articles and Article 68 of the Constitutional Court Procedure Act.
In accordance with Article 4, Paragraph 7 of the Additional Articles, the impeachment of the President or the Vice President by the Legislative Yuan can only be initiated upon the proposal of no less than half of the total members of the Legislative Yuan and passed by no less than two-thirds of the total members thereof.
