慶祝釋憲70週年，司法院大法官10月1日、2日在法官學院舉辦107年度國際學術研討會，由司法院許宗力院長主持開幕式，蔡英文總統並親臨致詞祝賀。研討會以「憲法法院與人權保障」為主題，由許院長發表「大法官的司法積極主義如何形塑臺灣的自由民主憲政秩序」的專題演講。邀請甫卸任的前加拿大最高法院院長Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin主講「Four Eras of Aboriginal Law in Canada」，立陶宛憲法法院院長President Dr. Dainius Žalimas主講「The Development of Constitutional Review and Human Rights Protection by the Constitutional Court of Lithuania」（因故未能與會，經同意由中研院陳玉潔博士代為宣讀），蒙古國憲法法院大法官Dondov Ganzorig主講「The Role of the Constitutional Court in the Process of Democratic Development in Mongolia」，美國芝加哥大學法學院教授Professor Tom Ginsburg主講「The Trump Administration, Democracy, and American Constitutional Law」，及史特拉斯堡國際人權研究院／英國倫敦米得賽克斯大學教授Dr. Andrew Drzemczewski主講「The Role and Authority of the European Court of Human Rights」。
