On June 8, 2018, the Judicial Yuan invited Prof. Dr. Anne van Aaken (then at the University of St. Gallen and later began her Alexander von Humboldt-Professorship at the University of Hamburg, Germany from August 18, 2018) for her lecture on “Proportionality from a behavioral perspective.” Prof. Dr. Van Aaken met President HSU and the Justices before the lecture for exchanging views.
