  1.  A petition must be lodged with the Constitutional Court under the Constitutional Court Procedure Act. All forms and documents of the petition must be submitted in paper copies or electronic copies to the following destinations: 
    (1) Paper filings: Must be submitted to the Constitutional Court mailroom (the same as the Judicial Yuan mailroom), which is in the Taiwan High Court Criminal Building at No. 127, Bo'ai Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City 10048, Taiwan.
    (2) Electronic filings: Must be submitted through the Judicial Yuan’s e-filing system (only in Traditional Chinese). 
  2. Parties who would like to submit through the e-filing system should refer to the guidelines of the Judicial Yuan e-filing system 「司法院電子訴訟文書(含線上起訴)服務平台(憲法訴訟)使用指引」(only in Traditional Chinese). E-filing petitioners may be asked to provide additional paper copies to the Constitutional Court if necessary. 
  3. Petitions should be made in Chinese and must follow the format required by the Constitutional Court. Please refer to the regulations and format requirements provided by the Constitutional Court at 書狀規則 (rules on the format for petitions) and 書狀格式 (format requirements), both only in Traditional Chinese. 
  4. After the petition is admitted, the Constitutional Court will publish the petition brief, reply brief, and supplemental briefs on its website following relevant regulations. The content of the briefs may be partially redacted or obscured when published on the website to comply with relevant legal requirements.
  5. Petitioners may refer to the “Checklist for Constitutional Complaints” 「人民聲請憲法法庭裁判自我檢核表 (only available in Traditional Chinese)」and check if they meet the requirements for lodging a constitutional complaint. 
  6. Petitioners, their agent ad litem, or legal counsels may check online the progress of their cases at 「當事人案件進度查詢」 (only available in Traditional Chinese).
