Introduction

The Taiwan Constitutional Court Annual Academic Conference 2023 will be held under the theme of “Contemporary Challenges of Constitutionalism”. This year’s conference consists of four sessions, each chaired by a Justice of the Constitutional Court. Speakers this year include Justice of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, The Hon. Dame Susan Glazebrook; former President of the Constitutional Court of Lithuania, Prof. Dr. Dainius Žalimas; former Justice of the Constitutional Court of Korea, Mr. Ilwon Kang; and Lord President of the Court of Session of Scotland, The Right Honourable Lord Carloway, PC FRSE.
